Linecker GmbH is one of the most successful Austrian POS and hotel software manufacturers and is active in the entire DACH region.
Linecker knows the daily challenges in the hotel industry, gastronomy and retail. This knowledge and many years of experience have been bundled into logically structured and easy-to-use systems.
Linecker GmbH already had excellent products in the field of cash registers and hotel software. Only the new platforms such as smartphones or tablets were not supported and location-independent operation via the Internet was also not possible.
In 2018, a set of requirements was defined as part of a large-scale cooperation:
Minute-by-minute evaluations (sales, occupancy, …) of the checkout/hotel software should be able to be queried via smartphone app at any time and from any location.
Table and room reservations are to be recorded by the guest via an app or a web widget and sent directly to the Linecker system via a cloud backend.
Table and room reservations should be released and confirmed by the operator via an app.
Customer loyalty programs should be able to be offered via a cloud solution.
Online orders should end up directly in the Linecker checkout via a fully integrated shop system.
In 2019, the commission to plan and develop a bonus app followed, which is intended to complete the range of Linecker GmbH.
In very close cooperation with Linecker GmbH, we developed a highly scalable and flexible cloud system that allows Linecker GmbH customers to digitize all processes up to 100%. From the online shop to live reporting/statistics to a fully integrated booking system (table/room reservations), we were able to expand the Linecker GmbH product portfolio with state-of-the-art components.
In line with our guiding principle “Platform Follows Requirement”, this system consists of various components, which are offered depending on the requirement:
The Lipp App gives gastro and hotel operators a live overview of their business. A reporting system connected to the cash desk or the hotel program shows up-to-the-minute evaluations of turnover, occupancy or table occupancy. The confirmation of table reservations and the immediate assignment of tables is also possible via the app at any time and regardless of location.
The web portal is primarily used for working on a desktop PC or a tablet. All administrative processes (reservations, table assignments, orders, etc.) can be processed in a clearly designed portal.
The table or room reservation system can be integrated into the website of the catering/hotel business with just one line of code. The freely configurable widget works fully integrated with the cloud system and the underlying Linecker system (cash register or hotel software).
With just a few clicks, this e-commerce platform can be configured and started up via the web portal. Companies can easily offer their products for sale via the online shop. Payment is made via an integrated payment provider or when picked up on site at the company. Of course, this system also works in direct connection with the Linecker POS system. In addition to the web portal, the orders also end up directly in the cash register system.
Lipp Bon – hybrid bonus app
The highlight of the collaboration was the conception and development of the very successful bonus app called “Lipp Bon”. The native app for iOS and Android runs fully integrated with the POS system and offers a stealth hybrid mode (WLAN, mobile communications, offline). 100% failsafe.
Due to the simple operation, the booking and payment processing is accelerated enormously. Sales are increased and this leaves more time for the essentials, the guests.
In the meantime, all components have been handed over to Linecker GmbH for further development. We wish our long-standing partner continued success.
